Detroit Lion Nick Fairley arrested…again

Lions DT Nick Fairley just wanted to have some fun on the weekend.

Driving around drunk with open containers and no proof of insurance, Fairley saw some flashing red and blue lights behind him. Fairley wasn’t about to stop for that. Just last month Fairley got busted for marijuana possession.

So Fairley led the police on a chase. The police caught him.

The 13th overall pick of the 2011 NFL draft now faces charges of driving under the influence and attempting to elude police. He was ticketed for open container, reckless driving and no proof of insurance.

Five Lion players have been arrested this offseason. Former University of Illinois running back Mikel Leshoure got arrested for marijuana possession within a month.
