QB

1. Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers scored 385 fantasy points last season, and was the hottest quarterback int he league. Look for Rodgers to try to match his 45 touchdowns thrown last season and lead in points again this season. Rodgers is projected to throw for 4,500 yards with 43 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, and rush for 4 touchdowns. I believe these projections are quite accurate.

2 Tom Brady

Brady has been one of the top fantasy quarterbacks for several years now, and shows no signs of slowing down just yet. Brady should be the second quarterback picked in your fantasy league. Brady is projected to have 354 fantasy points this season and is projected to throw for nearly 5,000, 40 touchdowns, 13 interceptions, and 2 rushing touchdowns.

3 Matthew Stafford

Stafford should be the number 3 quarterback taken in your fantasy league. Stafford threw for 5038 yards last season and scored 333 fantasy points as well. Stafford should improve again in the 2012 season and is projected to throw for over 5,000 yards again this season as well as 41 touchdowns, 17 interceptions, and 1 rushing touchdown. Stafford is projected to have 338 points this season, but i believe he will do better then projected.

4 Cam Newton

The most surprising and excited player of the 2011 season, Newton had 352 fantasy points in his rookie season with the Panthers. Newton had 14 rushing touchdowns last season, which was 1st for all quarterbacks. Newton is projected to throw for 4,000 yards, 22 touchdowns, 18 interceptions, and 8 rushing touchdowns. I believe Newton will be better then his projections in all categories. Newton could lead all quarterbacks in points this season or could have a sophomore slump.

5 Drew Brees

Yes Drew Brees is the most accurate quarterback in the NFL over the last 3 seasons, but due to all the distractions and the loss of Sean Payton for the season, Brees will have lower numbers this season. Last season Brees had 345 last season and is projected to throw for 5,000 yards, 41 touchdowns, 14 interceptions, and 2 rushing touchdowns. I believe Brees’ numbers will be lower than his projected numbers.

6 Michael Vick

Vick had a spectacular first season with the Eagles, but in 2011 Vick struggled to stay healthy and throw touchdowns. Vick rushed for just 1 touchdown and threw 14 interceptions last season. Do not expect for Vick to improve this season and should be the 6th quarterback drafted in your fantasy league. Vick is projected to throw for 3,000 yards, 19 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and 6 rushing touchdowns.

7 Payton Manning

Manning missed all of the 2011 season, and now finds himself on a team not called the Colts. Manning starts his new career in Denver, and as long as he can stay healthy, can be a top 5 quarterback this season. Manning is projected to throw for 4,500 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions. Manning is projected to have 263 fantasy points, but i believer he will improve on that projected number.

8 Eli Manning

The other Manning brother should be the 8th quarterback taken in your fantasy league. Manning scored 273 fantasy points last season and is projected to improve on that number. Manning is projected to throw 2,700 yards, 30 touchdowns, 16 interceptions, and 279 fantasy points. I believe Manning will be a good quarterback this season, but will not live up to his projected numbers.

9 Matt Ryan

Ryan scored 260 fantasy points, which ranked him 9th overall for quarterback last season. Ryan is projected to drop to 246 fantasy points this season. Ryan is projected to throw for 3,800 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. I believe Ryan will surpass all of his projected numbers in the 2012 season.

10 Tony Romo

Romo will remain as the 10th quarterback to be taken in your fantasy draft. Romo had 265 fantasy points last season, and is projected the same again this season. Romo has never thrown for more than 4,300 yards and has never gotten close to throwing for 40 td’s, but with weapons like Miles Austin, Dez Bryant, and Jason Witten, Romo could have some big number games.

Special Mention

  • Jay Cutler- with the addition of Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery, Cutler finally has a number one receiver in Marshall, and a very talented rookie in Jeffery. Look for Cutler to put up career high numbers with weapons like Forte, Hester, and Bennett to go along with Marshall and Jeffery.
  • Robert Griffin III- The Redskins rookie quarterback could turn some heads with his athletic ability under center. RGB should be a lot of fun to watch this season for fantasy players.
  • Andrew Luck- The Colts new star quarterback could be the next great thing, but the 2012 season is a little to early for the Stanford grad. Luck will be up there in pass attempts seeing as though the Colts will be behind in most their games.
